About Patricia M. Hoban

Patricia M. Hoban is a seasoned litigation and business attorney with extensive trial experience. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Thereafter, she received her Juris Doctor from Widener Law School. She is admitted to practice law before the Pennsylvania State Bar, The Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Education & Leadership

Patricia M. Hoban is a frequent guest lecturer and has presented lectures on various topics which include Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law, Expungements of Criminal Records, Legal Ethics, Crime and Society and Law for Ministers.

She is also an Adjunct Professor at the Community College of Philadelphia and Teaches Criminal Justice to Returning Ex-Offenders who are part of a pilot program associated with the Fox Rothschild Center for Law and Society.

The program provides college credits to students as they transition from prison and re-enter the work force. The Reach College Campus Program provides adults with criminal records with access to higher education and extensive support services during their first semester at CCP.

The students are recruited through county, state, and federal probation/parole offices, community service providers, the court system, and word-of-mouth. This program is supported by a Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency Byrne Justice Assistance Grant.

Outreach & Community

Patricia Hoban does not just practice law, she is involved with community projects in the Greater Philadelphia area and has led numerous community initiatives. She is a on the Board of Directors of SIA-Africa – New York City, NY which is a Social Enterprise committed to facilitating the delivery of development resources across Africa, through corporate alliances and partnerships with local NGOs professional bodies, governments and students.
